Muthiah Restaurant was incepted in 1992 by Mr. Muthiah Konar.

Mr. Konar has clocked more than 60 years of culinary experience, dating back, since the days he began as a cook in the kitchen of the Chettiar Society.

Muthiah Restaurant’s inaugural branch was once located at Veerasamy Road (in 1992), and in the year 2010, relocated to Hindoo Road. They feature the intrinsic dishes that hail from South India, and is a big hit among the local Indian community. Pricing appeals largely to the masses, with Biryani variants available on Thursdays, Sundays & Public holidays.



In 2013, Muthiah Restaurant opened their second outlet in Changi Business Park. Their menu at Changi places more emphasis on Chettinadu dishes, as well as North-Indian Vegetarian selections: which provides a fresh alternative for the executives & professionals in the proximity. The menu offers a healthy variety of set meals for the peak lunch & dinner hours at very affordable prices too.

Muthiah Restaurant prides itself upon the core values of authentic spice infused Indian culinary, and have no place for artificial flavoring, also referred to as ajinomoto.
